From the Saint-Jean-Baptiste holiday in June to Labor Day in September, the minimum rental period is 7 days except for last minute rentals.
The rate for the following periods is based on the 7 day week at $1450:
- From 21 Dec. to January 3
- From the end of February to mid-March, (school break and CEGEP break)
- Easter weekend
- St-Jean Baptiste holiday,
- Labor Day and the
- Thanksgiving weekend.
The cottage is non-smoking and pets are forbidden.

COST

- The balance is payable upon arrival on the premises.
BOOKING TERMS
- 25% of the cost of the rental is required when booking, payable by check to Sylvie Rémillard or by bank transfer upon receipt of the contract;
- Full payment is required before or upon arrival at the cottage.
- Any NSF check and/or non-payment of 25% of the rental (funds not released or check not received) will result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation and any sum collected will be retained by the lessor as damages.
- This rental agreement must be signed by the tenant and must be returned to the representative of the lessor within five (5) working days of receipt, along with the payments mentioned above.
CANCELATION
- Any cancellation must be made by written notice addressed to the representative of the lessor.
- The 25% deposit will be retained by the landlord as damages.
CONDITIONS
- No pets.
- No FIRES outside.
- It is strictly forbidden to SMOKE in the building. Please use the appropriate spaces outside and make sure to dispose of cigarette butts in the ash trays provided for this purpose.
- The tenant must notify the landlord of any BREAKAGE OR DAMAGE caused during his/her stay.
If one or other of these conditions is not respected during the stay, the owner reserves the right to evict and this, without refund.
RENTAL TERMS
- The building can only be used for vacation purposes.
- The tenant cannot assign his rights under the rental agreement or sublet the building.
- If the tenant does not leave at the time mentioned on the day of departure (already provided for in the contract), additional costs may be invoiced.
- The house is as described on the website.
- Out of respect for our neighbors, drive slowly on all access roads.
- When using the wood stove, always check that the door is properly closed when you are away from the cottage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The tenant is liable for material damage and bodily injury occurring in or on the rented building during the rental period, for any reason whatsoever, except for material damage resulting from construction defects, lack of maintenance, technological and natural disasters and any damage normally covered by the landlord’s home insurance policy. The lessee agrees to hold the lessor not responsible from any claim presented by anyone resulting from the damage he/her may have caused.
- The tenant undertakes to leave the leesed building at the end of his rental period in the same condition it was upon arrival. The tenant is responsible for damage caused by his personal acts and those of the people accompanying him and he will be served with an invoice for any damage caused to the property (except for normal wear and tear of the premises).
